Data is compressed and encrypted with a user-defined key on the local machine before it is transmitted to the OffsiteBackups.com secure, raised-floor data center. The data is stored on a high speed NAS disk system and is accessible by the user at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The end user controls their free data restores through the Client installed on the local machine. Using the Online data storage system, the end users can restore their data as many times as needed at no additional cost.
During the course of the backup process, there are multiple validations conducted to ensure the integrity of the data. Backups of applications like MSSQL and Oracle are completed at the transaction level so that all the necessary detail will be there when the restore process is used.
